1968 AMC AMX is powered by a 401ci V8 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and posi-traction differential that utilizes 3.54 gears. It features the Holley Terminator Stealth fuel-injection system and front disc brakes. This coupe rides on Rocket Racing wheels with BFGoodrich tires. Recent work completed includes a professional rebuild of the T10 4-speed transmission, a new air conditioning compressor, a new in-dash tachometer with the original face reinstalled, a new master cylinder, a reconditioned starter, a steering box rebuild and new MagnaFlow catalytic converters. It comes with a trunk-mounted battery and hidden antenna. Inside, this AMC features a custom interior with factory air conditioning. This is one of 6,725 AMXs produced in 1968.
