Description

This 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle has been subsequently modified by repainting the body in bronze and installing a 468ci V8 linked to a Keisler RS 500 five-speed manual transmission and a Strange Engineering S60 rear end with a 3.73:1 gear ratio. Additional equipment includes power steering, an Edelbrock carburetor and aluminum intake, a revised camshaft, and a polished stainless-steel Pypes exhaust system as well as four-wheel disc brakes, a cowl induction hood, and a retro-style aftermarket stereo with an amplifier. 18″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 235/40 front and 285/40 rear Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires. Four-wheel disc brakes are fitted and feature stainless steel brake lines, and additional modifications include installing a Strange Engineering S60 rear end with a 3.73:1 gear ratio in addition to 35-spline axles and a 1350 yoke. The cabin houses front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl. Equipment includes power steering, a center console, and a retro-style head unit linked to an amplifier and speakers housed in the trunk. Instrumentation consists of a 120-mph speedometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. The gauges and wiring harness were reportedly replaced under current ownership, and a steering column-mounted tachometer and additional central dash-mounted auxiliary gauges were added. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 3,300 miles. The 468ci big block features aluminum heads, Crane Cams 1.7 roller rocker arms, an Edelbrock 750 CFM carburetor and aluminum intake, stainless fuel lines, and a Pypes polished exhaust system with Spin-Tech mufflers. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Keisler RS 500 five-speed manual transmission.
