Description

This 1970 Dodge Challenger RT special edition Resto-Mod was first built by Mr. Norm's. It was later bought and professionally built by Dick Landy Industries under an agreement with the original Mr. Norm. It is powered by a 440/600hp engine with Mopar performance cams, lifters and roller rockers, as well as Hooker long-tube headers and a Flowmaster dual exhaust. It uses a 727 transmission with a reverse-valve body that replaces the 4-speed manual transmission and a 2.93. Dick Landy Industries fabricated and engineered an aluminum 3-link Panhard bar rear suspension to work in this Challenger. It features all DLI fabricated parts with single adjustable coilovers and a power rack & pinion steering unit. DLI was known as one of the premier Mopar performance companies in the world. It was recently rebuilt by Larry Ofria of Valley Head Service in Northridge, CA. The car is finished in Pearl Yellow with White Diamond Gold Pearl accent stripes, and the graphics on the car are painted. It was painted by legendary California painter Junior from House of Kolor. This Challenger rides on 17-inch American Racing wheels and is equipped with Brembo disc brakes front and rear, a hydro-boost assisted master cylinder, RT hood and a high-performance radiator. It also features a high-performance cooling system, custom AutoMeter gauges and an upgraded Kenwood sound system with Bluetooth. This Challenger is included in the original Grand Spalding Registry.
